Was easy to pick up my items, there was a 20 min wait as expected. Website was easy, staff were friendly
Im in United states, i won an auction and it was an expensive item, and they didnt write anywhere in their terms that they only take a payment from a canadian bank for high value items, (why did my card get charged then?) so they refunded my payment and kept 250 bucks, then wrote me a bad review on hibid so now im considered high risk??? wtf.
Sold me a monitor as "tested and working", but it wasn't in working condition. Their test was plugging it in, and seeing if it gets power... but the source inputs do not work! Sooooo not tested and not working.At firat they said they'll refund, but then they just ignore you. Emails, messages, calls, doesn't matter, they just avoid taking accountability and responsibility, hoping you'll go away.I understand that mistakes happen... but keeping people's money, after falsely advertising... is fraud!DO NOT TRUST THEIR DESCRIPTIONS, THEY ARENT TESTED OR WORKING!If this review is up, then they still haven't refunded.Next step is Ontario Consumer Protection Act... which comes with fines.Do the right thing Liquidation Max!
be careful with this auction, they show photos of the products as new, they do not take photos of the current products, they rarely give details of the condition of the products and you buy thinking that they are in good condition, out of 10 products that you buy, perhaps 2 are in good condition, even the products that they describe as new, you receive them used, when you contact them to ask for a refund, they tell you that they are the company workers who do not check the products well, but they never assume responsibility, this implies that there is no one really checking that everything is in order, I returned some products that add up to more than 200 Cad and I contacted them to tell them what had happened with that money, they respond that they cannot be held responsible for those products, that you must inform them at the time of return, that you must check when you pick up the products, being that in Mississauga store, they do not give you the time to be able to review, since it is not part of Liquidation max, it is another business in which they use it to collect the Liquidation max items, then I should assume that I lost 200 CAD, that they don't check anything when you send the products back and that they will probably resell them and make money.
They used to be good. But now it's so rare the ad is for the actual item you get. Drive across the city and sit for 20 minutes (time for item and system for pickup is perfect). But then you get the item and it's not at all what you bid on. Also rarely ever got a refund when I requested it
Well I have been shopping from lots of auctions. Of course, auction items, you can't expect everything new but auctions that have shopped with always mentioned things in the description about items being new or worn. Never returned items from those auctions till now. This is first time I am requesting to return something, think how horrible that can be.This time, I don't know why I went to Liquidation Maxx Inc. and purchased gifts for someone. I bought multiple items from which only sandals were listed as used. So other items should be new and packed. Now, when I am there at their pickup location, I asked if I can open the items and check. They were like no we are just distribution." If you have problems, send them an email. I came home and checked my stuff. They all were literally horrible.Problems with items:1. Timex Women's Modern : Watch is not working properly, it starts for 1 minute then stops again.2. Fellowes 48121 Standard Foot Rest: faulty, not being able to assemble3. Splendid Women's Angie Crop Wide Leg Pants : there was spill on it, it had brown spot here and there.4. CamelBak Horizon Tall Can Cooler : missing lid, how am I gonna use without lid.5. Ello Hydra 64oz Half Gallon Vacuum Insulated Stain : Dent on this bottle6. KATE SPADE Woman Savona/G/S Sunglasses: Used badly, scratches on the glass. The $10 glasses look more nicer than this one. Glasses opens up itself, it was that badly used and auction made bill of 60$ for this glasses. I can't keep it in my garage even why I would gift it to someone.Posting pictures of all so others can see and stop purchasing from this auction.Story continue,Emailed them multiple times, always received general email, we will issue refund. But no refund being issued. Again emailed them multiple times, and got humanly reply, saying drop items at our pickup location, we will issue refund. I dropped all items from the lot. My bill was 118.02$, as I returned all items I should receive whole refund back, I haven't received it back on my card though I received email saying refund generated of 36$. I have spent 20$ or more on gas already in there pickup, drop-off game. This is frustrating experience.I Don't know if I am gonna receive full refund or not but this is really frustrating.Before picking this faulty items, I did bid on their next lot already and sadly I won three items, they were bad too. I did not complain about it as I knew how it will go. Anyways that bill was 40$ so I saved on gas by not returning it.But Don't bid with them. They are sick.
We buy from many auctions and it’s always been a positive experience. We value the quality of merchandise for the money spent. We afford a better life and enjoy spending less.This is NOT the experience at Liquidation Max. The customer experience is contrary to every HONEST auction merchant out there!Instead of receiving the iPencil we expected, we were shipped some CHEAP plastic tube. I hate to think it’s a bait and switch, although their actions since receiving the item support this claim.Upon writing them about the problem, we have received no response. Also very unlike other auctions, which are very prompt and supportive to ensure a positive shopping experience. They want repeat business!!!We’ve accepted this is a RIP-OFF and now consider it a promise to always check reviews (again!) and a smallish investment in NEVER trusting these shysters again!
I won an auction item - an Hello Kitty Loungefly bag - and had it shipped to me. When it arrived, it was NOT what I won. I’ve tried to contact them several times to remedy this situation and no one has responded. I’m frustrated and want my money back or at the very least, the item that I won. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I do auctions all the time and have never had this experience. I don’t suggest anyone bid on their auctions if they’re not going to send you what you won!
I have spent hundreds of dollars at this auction house and in each lot I have picked up they have sold me garbage. I had missing items and the stuff is broken and heavily used. They do not list it in the description which is very crooked to do. I cannot even use the stuff I spent money on. Not even good enough to donate to someone else.They will not refund my money, but they will offer store credit which I want nothing to do with after my experience with my purchases. I will keep repurchasing garbage in exchange for credits.See pictures of items of some of the items I purchased. Broken can opener, disgustingly used shoes with tears and worn out material, broken tube with missing parts for a baby aspirator
